Bottle top casters

The plastic caster for camping is a some letdown.
Its content has became damp.
I need sure airtight casters.

I put canned coffee bottle to use,
for larger bore.
Two bottle tops are adhered
to each other by epoxy resin.

I wrap leather around its bodies.
It open both sides,
so its content couldn't
stick to the bottom.

I make two casters,
one for herb salt,
the other for vegetable seasoning.

Knife leg strap

A friend of mine makes plans for a sea fishing trip,
early in October to the southern coast of Korea.
He want the strap of his fillet knife
that is put on the calf of the leg.

His fillet knife is a Abu Garcia's.
I cut sofa leather by 3cm x 100cm.
Two Velcros are added.

Knife sheath puts in two small bands.
The friend is glad that he receives this strap.

New car for canoe carrying

I need a car for canoe carrying.
My demands :
Low roof
Roof rack
Manual gearshift
Small engine displacement
 Fuel efficiency
Cheap car tax and insurance
Low cost

1998 Ford Festiva (domestic name, KIA Pride)
is picked out.
120,000km integrated distance
1,300cc gas engine is in good condition.
Truck registered as 2 seats van

After taking over,
I insulate the roof
for blocking out infrared rays.

And fixed bucket seats are
replaced with sport car seats.

Roof rack is installed.
I combine GM parts with Hyundai parts
but consentience is achieved.

Two black wheels...
The one for offroading,
the other for canoeing.

Burl kuksa

On Sunday morning,
ash burl goad me on handmade.
Timely, I need a kuksa.

Burl is too much hard,
I drill on it, and break it
with homemade chisel.

I find myself unequal to this task.
I sand down it with dremel.

The primary is finished.
It pass a water leak test.

It is on leather leash.
Handle shape should be modified.

I dye it with coffee powder,
the grain of wood is more vivid.

The temperature fell by
7-8 Celsius degree last night.
Autumn wil be in the air soon.

Ash burl & fat wood

The late summer heat is much worse than usual.
Going to my private natural bathtub
near my place of work, I find
a ash tree's burl.

It is smaller than I want.
But it is suitable to small kuksa.

It is as hard as a rock,
I saw away over ten minutes.
I'm a bit concerned about grubbing up it.

The grain of wood...
not splendid...

(quoted pic)

This will transform to the like of above kuksa.
It will be a time-consuming job.

I make some fat woods for winter camping :
oak chunk,
linseed oil (90%),
turpentine oil (10%)

New leather possible bag

I've been swamped with heavy workload.
After a long interval, I make a new
leather possible bag for a holiday.

I use recycled sofa leather.
For breaking monotony,
I add a dark brown color stitch.

And, its front and sides turn
leather inside out,
so it looks suede.

It assumes the form of bag.
A water buffalo's horn button
is added.

Finished.
It takes five hours.

The cover is decorated
fringe.

A4 size
644g

It has three inner pocket.
Its folksy style suit me.
